Q-tomography and Q-migration are among the most advanced technologies available today for analyzing and correcting of frequency-dependent absorption effects.
There are many techniques for their realization, but it is difficult to say affirmatively that this problem has been solved completely. The well-known practical methods of Q-tomography and Q-migration have a number of significant algorithmic bottlenecks, so this topic should be investigated.
The present paper is devoted to the review of author's algorithms on the above mentioned topic.
2. How different types of multiples distort the seismic field and how to deal with them.
Thematic Section No. 10 Technologies for Geological and Geophysical Data Processing and Interpretation

The presence of multiples in the recorded seismic data is one of the main problems of seismic exploration, which has a great impact on the ability of correct data processing and interpretation. It is believed that multiples create problems mainly for marine data. This is because the seafloor is a very contrasting acoustic boundary that produces energy-intensive multiples. On land, multiples associated with the observational surface have much lower energy, because they are influenced by the top of the section many times. The main problem for land-based observations is internal multiples.
Based on synthetic data, this paper presents an analysis of the aforesaid theses and their proofs
3. Concept of development of the native complex of interpretative seismic data processing.
Round table #6: Import substitution of geological and geophysical software and equipment
The speaker: Ovchinnikov Kirill, Leading geophysicist, Seismotech Ltd.

Seismotech's Prime software development strategy has always been aimed at solving actual seismic exploration problems rather than simply copying popular processing systems. Initially, Prime technologies made it possible to control the correctness and accuracy of the results obtained by involving a priori information and using depth images from the earliest processing stages.
Industrial seismic processing has traditionally been very conservative. Typically, new techniques and fresh algorithms go through extended testing phases. As computing technology advances, there are opportunities to implement proven methods that have been developed over decades.
The processing of seismic data is now entering a new stage. Processing is increasingly incorporating procedures that converge with interpretation, thus so-called “depth processing” is becoming more demanded.
Interpretation tasks require more meaningful transformations of data based on increasingly adequate models of real environments. This means that dynamic wavefield modeling procedures must be involved in the processing.
