Seismotech, Ltd. will present a report at the Conference “GeoKaliningrad-2020. Oil and Gas, Mining Geology and Geophysics" on September 21-25th, 2020
Within the Geological and Geophysical Conference "GeoKaliningrad-2020" we are pleased to invite you to attend the following report:
How do I get "true amplitudes" in seismic images?
Shalashnikov Andrey, Leading Software Developer
During seismic processing, the wave field dynamic parameters are unavoidable distorted when noise is suppressed, and the signal is selected. With an unknown a priori model of the environment, it is impossible to control these distortions. In addition, these distortions are caused by the insufficiency of any observation system. Adaptive methods of data regularization also lead to significant losses both in spatial resolution and in the dynamics of useful seismic events.
The report discusses methodological and algorithmic methods for the problem solution. The meaning of these methods is to use the built environment model for targeted re-processing and correction of data in the target area to obtain seismic images with the correct dynamic parameters.
